Complete Guide to Star Wars Pepsi Bottle Cap Figures from Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Well… I’ve found myself going down yet another rabbit hole. This time I seem to have gotten obsessed with these promotional Pepsi bottlecap figures that tied in with the release of Star Wars Prequal Trilogy. While taking this dive it became pretty obvious that there wasn’t a lot of information available about them… most notably there wasn’t an online list of figures readily available to act as a checklist. They are kind of an obscure item, but I figured I couldn’t be the only one trying to complete a set. With this in mind I thought I would put something together (with a few photos) to help anyone else out who might need it. This list will focus on the the figures released for Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and I will follow up with lists for Episode II & Episode III at a later point.

These figures were manufactured by Suntory and released in 1999 as a promotional campaign tie-in with the first movie. With 40 figures available in the Episode I set, these figures were given away with Pepsi purchases, and were available exclusively in Japan. There isn’t a whole lot of English based information about these figures, so I’m basing this list on a few low-res scans that I’ve found… and my very rudimentary Google Lens/Translate skills.
