Del Prado World Fighter: World War II British Royal Air Force Fighter Pilot

Originally released around 2000 by the Spanish publishing company Del Prado, this figure was part of their highly popular “World Fighter” series distributed in Japan. Subscribers who collected the bi-weekly historical magazines and die-cast model airplanes received this exclusive pilot figurine as a bonus gift.

This line was later sold in the standard English-market under the “Men at War 1914–1945” line in partnership with Osprey Publishing.

The key difference between the two releases is that the Japanese release of this figure is mounted on a premium, raised red presentation base with a gold nameplate, while the English Market version was released with the standard tap plastic base.

The figure comes complete, and still sealed in the box. The box does show some signs of wear due to age/storage, however it will still display well if you choose to keep it sealed.
