Eaglemoss Warships Of The World: Japanese Submarine I-400 (Premium Bonus) 1:1100

The Warships Of The World collection was released by Eaglemoss in the early 2000’s as part of a magazine subscription. It was also released in Japanese markets by publishing DeAgostini in the same manner. Each scale model was released as part of a numbered magazine subscription that came paired with a different ship composed of ABS Plastic & Die-Cast Metal arriving every two weeks.

This particular model does not have a standard issue number because it was released as an exclusive premium gift for subscribers. Instead of being sold at newsstands like regular individual entries, this 1:1100 Japanese Submarine I-400 (1945) was distributed as a special bonus reward alongside the scale Type VIIC German U-Boat (1941) for collectors who signed up for the initial mail-in subscription to the Eaglemoss/DeAgostini “Warships of the World” collection.

These figures came to us in sealed condition, however the packaging was in extremely bad condition. With that in mind we decided to open them to ensure that the figures were undamaged and to take photographs. Each figure from this series was assembled for the photos, and them placed back inside their respective plastic tray to prevent damage during storage. They will ship inside of their plastic trays, but be aware the the plastic trays are not in good shape, and are being included simply to ensure safe shipping.
