Transformers Antex: Green Carrera/Cliffjumper (Argentina Exclusive)
The aforementioned white version of Carrera was released in Argentina by Antex in 1985, along with a new green redeco, both sporting the Estrela stickers and “DUNLOP”-less tires. Later releases of the green version have been found with different paper stickers: a large yellow one on his chest that also appears on some releases of “Camaro” (aka Windcharger), and the sticker on the back of the head being one that was originally applied to Salt-Man Z’s knees.
Released in 1985, Carrera is a redeco of the Generation 1 Cliffjumper mold that was exclusive to Argentina. This figure comes from my personal collection, and hasn’t even been displayed since I purchased it. This figure does have a couple of issues however. There is a small stress mark on one of his feet. It also looks as though the head has been “repaired” at one point, and can be pulled off (please see pics), however it does stay on and does not effect displayability.
These South American Minibot variants are extremely hard to come by, and make the perfect conversation piece for any G1 Collection. Don’t miss your chance to own this vary hard to find piece at a great price.
