Transformers Estrela: Gray Volks/Bumblebee (Brazilian Exclusive)
Bumblebee was released in Brazil by Estrela in 1985 as the Robocar “Volks”, initially available in two color schemes: his original yellow and black, and slick-looking silver and black with a gold face, both decorated with a new thin tech-detailing sticker on their chests based on the original Micro Change decals. The design of the sticker on the back of his head was also changed to a more complex grid pattern. The raised “DUNLOP” branding on the tires was also removed.
Released in 1985, Volks is a Brazilian exclusive redeco of the Generation 1 Bumblebee mold. This figure comes from my personal collection, and hasn’t even been displayed since I purchased it.
